Todd chronicles the life of New London Ledge Lighthouse, a unique local landmark, and presents a broader look at lighthouses and light keepers. The talk includes Todd's documentary film "Ledge Light." This film tells the story of the need for Ledge Light, how it was designed and built, the life of its keepers, its famous ghost Ernie, the light's deterioration and work on its restoration and the museum inside the light since 2009.

In this presentation, Todd will discuss the writing of his three novels "Legacy of the Light," "Magician's Choice," and "In the Shadow of the Light," and preview his fourth, "Elephant Island." He will screen traikers for all 3 books and talk about the writing process, from inspiration to reasearch to wordsmithing. Take a journey through the worlds of lighthouses, storms at sea, famous magicians, carnivals and Broadway, ghosts and paranormal investigations, Shackleton's journey to Antarctica, the American Musuem of Natural History, meteorite hunters and more as Todd explores his historical fiction stories.
This talk chronicles a journey to Antarctica. Todd will share his short film "Endurance" made for National Geographic about Shackleton's adventures in Antarctica. He will discuss his fascination with Antarctica that came out of making that film and how it eventually led to his own journey there, chronicled in his 15-minute film "Antarctic Dream."
